Vortex is built on a single principle: your activity is your own. We collect nothing, store nothing, and share nothing.

No Data Collection
Vortex collects absolutely no personal data, usage data, telemetry, or analytics of any kind. Nothing you do inside the client is recorded, transmitted, or stored by us.
No Accounts Required
Vortex does not require you to create an account, log in, or register. There is no user database, no email list, and no profile associated with your use of the software.
No Trackers or Ads
There are zero third-party trackers, advertising SDKs, or analytics libraries embedded in Vortex. The application makes no outbound connections to any Vortex-controlled server during normal operation.
Peer-to-Peer Only
All torrent activity is conducted directly between peers on the BitTorrent network. Vortex acts purely as a client — it does not route, log, or inspect your transfers.
Local Storage Only
Your settings, download history, and preferences are stored entirely on your local machine. This data never leaves your device and is fully under your control.
Open Source Foundation
Vortex is built on qBittorrent, an audited open-source codebase. You can review the full source code to verify these claims at any time.
